This weekend, I start making paper mache pumpkins. Because I've been told I simply must use them as my centerpieces by everyone else who has seen them and is involved in the wedding.
Even the groom claims to like them.
Anyway, I just posted a poll (see it? It's over on your right), because - as much as I like pumpkins and they fit the 'elegant yet spooky' qualifications - I think they are predictable.
Not that there is anything wrong with predictable; sometimes it makes people happy to satisfy their expectations. I just want to explore my options. The wedding is 'subtly spooky' and I want it to be pretty, Halloween-friendly, but still meet husband-to-be's request of 'simple' and 'a bit traditional.'
Tell me what you think? I'm open to suggestions.
