It's a fact: 90% of all Halloween fanatics love puns, much like the one is the title of this post (we're linking over to a tutorial on distressing a mirror to aid in that 'haunted house' look). Also, I make up statistics.But a disproportionate number of us do seem to enjoy wordplay! Fiance says this is because it takes a certain kind of giddy child-likeness to really 'get' Halloween in the first place, and this pre-disposes us to enjoy the simple pleasures of muddling around with our words.
I think we're all just really funny.
The mirror project is definitely not one for the kiddies; it involves paint thinner and muriatic acid - and glass, which I'm always a bit wary of.
I am fortunate enough to own some turn-of-the-last-century furniture, which includes an age-distressed mirror with the dressing stand. I'm telling you: it's simply a must if you want to be ghostly-chic.
