Good Surprises from Yesterday at Six Flags Fright Fest

Husband-to-Be took me to Six Flags, as a kind of 'hey, life has been stressful and we aren't doing out typical Halloween-time tour of themeparks this year -- let's go to FrightFest after I get off work' kind of thing.

It was one of the best times I've ever had at that park, due to a short but nifty list of things:
  1. It was raining, lightly, so the park was near-empty, with a drizzly haze about it
  2. The temperature was perfect fall: cool, but not cold
  3. Marilyn Manson music is now old and mainstream enough to be a primary staple of the soundtrack (my mom is never going to believe this) and I just can't deny that I adore him. It's so UNGOTH of me, I'm aware.
  4. We got to ride the Batman rollcoaster in the front, by ourselves, after dark. Sweetness!
  5. The CarnEvil show featured an actual Human Blockhead act (I know - isn't that pretty darned cool? I'm still excited about it!!!)
