Pinot is home! We just got back from the surgical center, and have been cautiously loving on the the little beast for about an hour.
We can't thank you enough for all the sweet thoughts. He's such a sweet little thing. Just look at that face! It's irresistible.
The staples in his back are heart-breaking, but I'd rather have a Frankenstein dog than watch him be in pain.
Not much is getting done with us lately. Pinot is one of several personal hardships that we've been dredging through since the wedding. I won't bore you with the others, just please know that I'm not abandoning the true nature of my blog -- just trying desperately to get things back on track so that I can truly focus on getting ready for next Halloween (i.e. "The Paper Anniversary").
Lilim -- I am so very heartbroken to hear about your cat. My sympathies to you; losing such a long-time friend and family member is very sad. I hope that the cherished memories of your beloved pet help to heal your heart.
Ann -- It sounds like Badger and Pinot are going through the same thing!! I hope he's doing well; it seems Pinot will be with time, but right now it's just so hard to tell. Best wishes to both of you as out sweet little pack members heal.
