Historical Pumpkin Pie Recipe
I just love Google Books. Why just this evening I found a book called The Dixie Cook Book, circa 1885. It makes me so happy for the internet and its very easy to follow recipes. I can't imagine making pumpkin pie with this being the entire entry:
