Purim Costumes
Purim is one of the most joyous and fun holidays on the Jewish calendar. It commemorates a time when the Jewish people living in Persia were saved from extermination. Most Purim celebrations include dressing up in costumes. Many of the costumes represent characters in the story of Purim like Queen Esther, Mordechai and Haman. Some costumes are worn just to celebrate the holiday and can be anything fun. Read more about the story of Purim on Judaism 101 and the Purim Wiki Page.
This year, Purim begins at Sundown on March 20th. There is still time to order your Purim costumes and have them delivered in time for the holiday.
