Devilish night for tricks and treating, calls for ghostly inspired brews and drinks to have an spooky effect on the people for the occasion. There is chill and eerie feelings in the air and this calls for warming guests with haunting hot chocolate topped with whipped cream. Ghosts made of marshmallow rising from the steam will be a novel idea. According to J.M Hirsch,AP food writer, this recipe works well with white and milk chocolates too. Serving a group of people, making combination of both the recipes would be nice visual effect for the night. Instant hot chocolate is fine though isn't nearly as devilishly effete. For an adult treat, spiking this drink with Irish cream or chocolate liquor. But for maximum gross-out appeal, go with black Halloween punch, a dark and fruity blend of cola, ginger ale and juice drinks. Floating hands add a real chill to the drink virtually. This punch is kept cool with ice "hands" made by filling rubber gloves with water, then freezing them overnight. Float one hand in the black brew and hook the other over the side of the bowl. Food colors can be added to it to give a groovy and ghostly effect to the whole theme. On the other hand, to transform the mundane atmosphere to eerie one cocktails are ghastly addition to the party mood with dark color drinks and animals hidden under the spooky waters in the painted glass. The guests will be highly entertained with this new idea of serving the drinks. Decorating the table with the effect of light with mixing of color in the glass of water would be an added attraction.
