Hugh Jackman Wears His Movie Costumes for Sex!

WOW! What a headline! I came across this article this week and not sure if it falls under TMI or HOT!

Evidently, Hugh Jackman's wife likes for him to bring a little piece of his work home with him!

Excerpt from the article:

The 'Australia' actor - who has two adopted children with wife Deborra-Lee Furness - often keeps his outfits from films including 'X-Men', when he played sexy mutant Wolverine

, to impress in the bedroom .

Hugh - who has been named the Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine - said: "It's easy with my wife. She loves the idea of me coming home in costume because it makes her feel like she's having an affair in a good way.

"When we met, I was cast as a prisoner with tattoos and she'd say, 'Don't take your tattoos off tonight!' and I'd be like, 'All right!' But what works best with her is the stockbroker look."

Looks like Hugh Jackman will have a new Wolverine costume to take home and play with soon. X-Men Origins: Wolverine premiers May 1, 2009 and will be the start of a costume filled summer at the movies, with Star Trek, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince to follow, just to name a few!

The most popular Halloween costumes are always driven by movies, TV, pop culture and fashion. Halloween 2008 will be a big year for movie costumes. I can already tell you what some of this year's most popular costumes and top selling Halloween costume themes will be.
The Dark Knight Joker Costume
1. Batman The Dark Knight (July 18, 2008) - Christian Bale returns as Batman in this sequel and getting much attention for his role as The Joker is Heath Ledger. Adults and Children costumes for Batman and The Joker will be very popular this Halloween.

2. Star Wars TV Series "The Clone Wars" (Fall 2008) - There are many Star Wars character costumes that will be coming out from this series, which is set to premiere this fall. Costume styles will be available for this new series as well as new classic Star Wars costumes never before available, like Hans Solo costume for children and adults and the Princess Leia Sexy Slave Costume for adults!

9. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (November 21, 2008) - the 6th installment in this series. With each new Harry Potter movie come new costume designs
10. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (May 16th 2008) - the second installment in this fantasy series based on the classic and amazing books by C.S. Lewis. Disney promises this movie will have more action than the first.
11. Power Rangers (Ongoing Disney TV Series) - These 5 jump-suited super heroes have been fighting evil in the galaxy for the last 16 years in this live action TV series and many straight to video DVD releases over the years.
12. Hell Boy II: the Golden Army (July 11, 2008) The sequel to this comic book series is based in a fantasy underground world and lends itself to some great costumes. The movie is directed by Guillermo Del Toro and Ron Perlman returns to the role of HellBoy.
13. The Incredible Hulk (June 13, 2008) This time Marvel's own production company has taken it upon themselves to re-do The Incredible Hulk movie. Ed Norton will make an awesome Bruce Banner and with the popularity of comic book movies and super hero movies, the timing is right and they can learn from the mistakes of the last Hulk film which did not do as well.

Time to Think About Halloween Costumes

Hello to All My Blog Readers,

I need your help and would greatly appreciate your input in our annual list of the Top Halloween Costumes. You can see last year's list here: www.extremehalloween.com/tophalloween.htm as well as links to previous years' lists. We always break them down in to different costume categories. This summer's blockbuster movies are a giant influence on which costumes will be the most popular this year, so most of this summers' movie characters will make the list. (Of course, providing that the costume manufacturers have licensed and produced them.) So, please post comments and let us know what you all think and what you would like to wear this year!

Thanks for your input,
Shari : )

Audrey Hepburn's Dress from Breakfast at Tiffany's Sold at Auction

Audrey Hepburn's Costume
The English.eastday.com web site reports Hepburn's film costume auctioned for $192,000. A pink cocktail dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 film "Breakfast at Tiffany's" was auctioned for 192,000 U.S. dollars in New York on Wednesday, more than six times its estimated value. The sleeveless dress, worn for the scene in which Holly Golightly discovers her brother has died, went to a private European buyer, Christie's auction house said in a statement.
The more famous little black dress Hepburn wore in the film sold for more than $800,000 dollars in London last year.

Among other lots in Wednesday's memorabilia auction was Marilyn Monroe's script for "Something's Got To Give," with the actress' handwritten notes, which sold for 19,200 dollars.

A costume worn by Barbra Streisand in the 1968 film "Funny Girl" went for 33,600 dollars.
